Blizzard is committed to socioeconomic diversity in our programs, and to making skiing and snowboarding financially accessible to all families. We established the Blizzard Family Assistance Fund, fueled by donations from members, staff, and Blizzard itself to achieve this vision.
The Blizzard Family Assistance Fund has awarded over $80,000 to get nearly 100 Minnesota youth involved in skiing and snowboarding — lifelong activities the entire family can enjoy!
We’re not done yet!
The Minnesota Ski Areas Association (MNSAA) Educational Foundation is the new fiscal sponsor for the Blizzard Family Assistance Fund! In addition to connecting us with the larger Minnesota snowsports community, this exciting partnership brings the power of MNSAA-EF’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit status to the Blizzard Family Assistance Fund — meaning your donations are tax deductible! (Consult your tax advisor for details.) We are excited about the opportunities this creates for future programming and grants.

$50 – ski or snowboard bag
$100 – weekly trip including lift ticket and transportation
$250 – rental equipment for one season
$500 – program membership for one season
$1500 – full season of skiing or snowboarding including lift tickets and transportation
