THE MITES PROGRAM IS NOT EXPECTED TO RUN DURING THE 2023-24 SEASON.

Our top priorities are safety, fun and learning, so our instructor-to-student ratios are critical. like many businesses, we are experiencing a staffing shortage. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to having our amazing Mites back in future seasons!

Your Kindergartener or 1st-grader may be ready to hit the slopes, or may be cautious and need a little extra support.

Note: All Mites must be 6 years old by December 1 to enroll.

Blizzard meets our youngest members wherever you are in your own development! Our supportive instructors are available every step of the way as you learn the basics of skiing.

Mites are with the same two instructors and about six members for the entire eight-week program. You sit in the front of the bus, are escorted into the chalet to drop your lunch, and are then hand-delivered to your instructors outside to start your day.

You are grouped by skill level and with friends (when skill levels allow), always keeping group safety in mind. Your group will hit the slopes together, have lunch together and take breaks together. You’ll enjoy a supervised ride up the chairlift and guided group skiing down the hill. Supervision is all day, at all times, in all areas. At about 3:15 p.m. your group will head back into the chalet to pack up for the day and be escorted back to the buses.
