We moved to Minnesota 10 years ago when the kids were very young. One of them was invited to join Blizzard by a family from the area and she fell in love with the sport. The same family encouraged me to learning to ski to help embrace the Minnesota winters. Learning ski as an adult is not easy, pretty or graceful but it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I started chaperoning for Blizzard 7 years ago riding the bus to spend more time with the kids doing something active. It is fun interacting the kids and watching them grow over the years. The child who first fell in love with skiing is now in the apprentice program; both her dad and I are in the parent program.
