Katie’s passion for skiing started on a snow day from school when she was 7.  Her grandfather picked her up and took her to Trollhaugen to teach her how to ski.  This was the start of her Blizzard tenure as a child.  She remained in Blizzard and achieved top black.  She went on to attain her PSIA - Level 1 certification while in high school, and her Level 2 after high school.  Katie has a son and a daughter that have both been through the Blizzard.  She hopes to pass on her passion for the sport, and love of Blizzard onto the next generation.
