School’s out! Hit the slopes with Blizzard Ski & Snowboard School!

Enjoy a full day of skiing or snowboarding at Afton Alps. Each trip includes a lift ticket and round-trip bus transportation, plus optional equipment rental and one-hour beginner lesson at no extra cost.

The reservation deadline for this event is Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 8:00 PM. You MUST pre-register AND RSVP to attend this trip.

SPECIAL WAIVERS REQUIRED!
Vail Resorts, which owns Afton Alps, requires Vail Resorts waivers for every participant. (This is different than the MNSAA 1Risk waiver required by other areas.) Nobody may board a bus or receive a lift ticket without providing a signed waiver. Download, print, and complete waivers here.

To request a rental and/or lesson, you must complete a request form for each trip (login required, then click Forms/Waivers).

Cost

• Trip Fee: $90
• If you make a reservation for a specific trip and do not attend, you will be charged a $45 No-Show Fee (If your child is sick, please stay home and call the office.)

Bus Stops

If you drive: Pick up lift tickets from the Blizzard Table inside the MEADOWS CHALET BY 10:30 AM. (Afton Alps has FOUR chalets! We are at Meadows.) Check your child(ren) out from the Blizzard Table by 3:30 PM.
