DESCRIPTION:The MLK Day Teen & Family Bonus Trip has been canceled. See you next weekend!\n\nSchool is out for MLK Day! Spend the day on the slopes with your friends at Blizzard! \nRSVP NOW \nThis bonus trip is for all members in grades 5-12 in the Classic\, Team Blizzard or Apprentice Instructor programs. Younger siblings and members are welcome with a parent or guardian. \nSPECIAL WAIVER REQUIRED! Vail Resorts\, which owns Afton Alps\, requires a Vail Resorts waiver for every participant. (This is a different waiver than the MNSAA 1Risk waiver required by other MN ski areas.) Nobody will be allowed on the bus or provided with a lift ticket at the area unless a signed waiver is turned in at the event. Please download\, print and complete this Vail Resorts waiver. \nAfton Alps is CASHLESS. You cannot use cash to make any purchases. All major cards\, ApplePay\, and resort charge are accepted. \nGuests\nWant to bring a friend or family member? Awesome! Guests must know how to ski or snowboard already and must have their own equipment. We are unable to supervise equipment rentals. All Guests must be pre-registered. We cannot accept any walk-on guests. \nInvite a Guest \nNo Lessons\nThere are no lessons on this bonus trip. It is a full a day of free-skiing/riding on the slopes! \nBuses\nWe will be running limited bus routes for this bonus trip. If you are not riding from your regular bus stop\, please verify the exact bus stop location and plan to arrive early so you don’t miss the bus. \nIF YOU DRIVE: Afton Alps has four chalets. The Blizzard Table is upstairs in the ALPS CHALET. (That’s the main chalet at the bottom of the hill.) You must arrive by 10:30 AM to get a lift ticket from Blizzard. For Apprentices taking the Rainbow Exam this season\, this is a good “final check” for what you need to work on! It’s a great way to work through any test anxiety in a relaxed\, supportive environment. \nIt’s also our annual Apprentice potluck lunch! Join Blizzard’s annual trip up north to Giants Ridge in Biwabik\, MN!  \nLimited to 100 members\, you’ll travel in style and comfort on luxury motor coaches. Enjoy some of the longest runs and best slopes in Minnesota! Registration opens in mid-February and fills up fast! \nThis bonus trip is for members in our Classic\, Team Blizzard and Apprentice Instructor programs on Saturday and Sunday. Younger members are welcome with parent/guardian supervision all day and preregistration. \nThere are no lessons on this trip. It is a full a day of free-skiing/riding on the slopes. \nWant to bring a friend or family member? All Guests must be preregistered. \nInvite a Guest \nBus Stops\nBus stops for this bonus trip are limited to ONLY Chanhassen\, Edina – City Hall\, Ridgedale and Shoreview. Please check the website for the exact location if you are not riding from your usual bus stop!
