New this year: We’re going to Giant’s Ridge in Biwabik\, MN!  \nLimited to 100 members\, you’ll travel in style and comfort on luxury motor coaches. Enjoy some of the longest runs and best slopes in Minnesota! Registration opens in mid-February and fills up fast! \nThis bonus trip is for members in our Classic\, Team Blizzard and Apprentice Instructor programs on Saturday and Sunday. Younger members are welcome with parent/guardian supervision all day and preregistration. \nThere are no lessons on this trip. It is a full a day of free-skiing/riding on the slopes. \nWant to bring a friend or family member? Spend the day on the slopes with your friends at Blizzard! \nThis bonus trip is for members in 5th-12th grades in Classic\, Team Blizzard or Apprentice Instructor programs on Saturday or Sunday.  Younger siblings and members are welcome as long as a parent or guardian comes along. \nAfton Alps is CASHLESS. You cannot use cash to make any purchases. All major cards\, ApplePay\, and resort-charge are accepted. \nLessons\nThere are no lessons on this bonus trip. It is a full a day of free-skiing/riding on the slopes! \nGuests\nWant to bring a friend or family member? Awesome! Guests must know how to ski or snowboard already and must have their own equipment. We are unable to supervise equipment rentals. All Guests must be pre-registered. We cannot accommodate walk-on guests.  \nInvite a Guest \nBuses\nIf you drive\, please arrive by 10:30 AM to pick up lift tickets from the Blizzard Table inside the chalet. Don’t miss the fun closing out 2023 with your Blizzard friends! \nImportant: \n\nWe are heading south this week\, so your bus times may change from the last two weeks!\nWelch Village is cashless this season. Only credit or gift cards are accepted for food and other purchases. Cash is not accepted at Welch Village. See their website for details.\nBoot bags are not allowed in the chalet. Only a regular lunch bag and drink are allowed. All other bags must be left on the bus for the day. Please pack accordingly.\n\nTeen Sampler Program Ends\nThis is the last trip for members in our Teen Sampler Program. We hope you had fun! To continue having a blast with Blizzard each week\, contact the office to register for the rest of the season! \nNew Classic Member Orientation\nNew to Blizzard this season? Graduated from SuperKyds to Classic or Team Blizzard? Have your child in grades 5-12 join our Classic Orientation group during the first few weeks and learn how Blizzard works for the big kids! (SuperMites and SuperKyds should stay with their group.) Our staff will show you when and where to go and you’ll meet other Blizzard members. No registration is required\, just tell the staff on the bus and we’ll take it from there.
