DESCRIPTION:It’s Picnic Day!\nEnjoy all-beef hotdogs\, chips\, cookies and beverages\, compliments of Blizzard! Veggie dogs and GF options are available. It’s our way of saying thanks for a great season! \nClassic Pop-up\nEach week we go beyond the color levels and offer pop-up groups to explore different aspects of skiing and snowboarding. Pop-up groups are for all Classic members (including Team Blizzard and Apprentice Instructors) and meet at the orange lesson cones at 10:00 AM\, 12:15 PM or 2:00 PM. Check out this week’s lesson schedule to find out when and where to meet. No extra cost. No sign-up required. \nThis week: Synchro! In preparation for Fun Day\, learn to ski & ride together to make fun formations like snakes\, pop-outs and diamonds as you come down the hill! Ski & snowboard. All color levels. Serious fun!! \nApprentice Instructor Program Preview!\nIf you’re in 8th-11th grade\, find out what it’s like to teach skiing & snowboarding! Go to Cone #2 at 10:00 to learn about the Apprentice Instructor Program! Skiers need to be in Color Level White or above; snowboarders need to be Brown or above. \nGiants Ridge Bonus Trip: March 8!\nStill haven’t had enough time on the snow? Join Blizzard’s annual trip up north! We’ll be at Giants Ridge in Biwabik\, MN again this season. Members in our Classic\, Team Blizzard and Apprentice Instructor programs are welcome solo or with friends in grades 5-12. SUMMARY:Apprentice Instructors - Mock Exam & Potluck
DESCRIPTION:Apprentice Instructors have an all-day clinic from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM! Everyone will get feedback on their skiing/riding and have an opportunity to teach. For Apprentices taking the Rainbow Exam this season\, this is a good “final check” for what you need to work on! It’s a great way to work through any test anxiety in a relaxed\, supportive environment. \nIt’s also our annual Apprentice potluck lunch! Check out Google Classroom for the potluck signup sheet. \n  \nNOTE: The regular Blizzard buses are available for transportation to Wild Mountain. Watch for your invitations and select your bus when you register. See the Saturday trip info for bus times.
